A couple of weeks ago we premiered the new jazz club

”Take Five” in Stockholm

and some sod on the bass….

The bass is mostly acoustic, not even going PA system.

The amp is just for some low level monitoring.

Kafjärden Sinfonietta performing Swedish music from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Here I use my five string Roth double bass and Richtarick Baroque Bow. The strings are

Genssler Sonores Basso 2016, and yes the still sound great after three years on duty.

I keep the volume down because of the delicate music, so it won’t be too bass heavy.
